Fractal Edge Press Gets Its Internet Act Together

3/7/2004 -- After paying fees for its website for one year (!?), Fractal Edge Press established an Internet presence at www.FractalEdgePress.com. Writer/editor/publisher Wayne Allen Jones of Chicago finally uploaded the updated material that has been in progress since March 2003 (progress - n. a three-stage process: initial flurry of activity resulting in half-baked, still embarrassing material, followed by a long period of inactivity, worry, and increasing guilt, terminated by a final flurry of activity resulting in the production of three-quarters-baked, still embarrassing material). [N.B.: Savor the self-effacing disclosure - it may be the last, if my therapist has anything to say about it.] The site is hosted by ValueWeb ( www.ValueWeb.com).

The site includes the usual statements of identity and purpose, guidelines for submitting manuscripts for publication, (old) news, and descriptions of the titles available and forthcoming. It also highlights the new distribution arrangement with Puddin'head Press (www.puddinheadpress.com 1-888-BOOKS-98).

And, yes, there is no company logo yet. If you have an idea or a particularly cool fractal you want to donate, communicate as suggested below.
